PTFE Expansion Joints:

Industrial PTFE expansion joints are manufactured of unreinforced isostatically molded PTFE bellows and are standard with ANSI 150# drilled ductile iron (epoxy coated) flanged ends with stainless steel reinforcing rings and pre-set limit bolts. These expansion joints are available in a 2, 3 or 5 convolutions version for various allowable movements, as noted below (also often referred to as couplings for 2-convolutions, expansion joints for 3-convolutions, and bellows for 5-convolutions, respectively).

316 stainless steel flanged ends available as an option/adder upon request.

*Optional 316 stainless steel flanges are available at an adder; please call or e-mail for cost & current leadtime.

Typical competitor part #'s :

2-convolutions #R6904 (coupling, e.g.- #R6904-024 = 1-1/2” pipeline size)

3-convolutions #R6905 (expansion joint, e.g.- #R6905-032 = 2” pipeline size)

5-convolutions #R6906 (bellows, e.g.- #R6906-064 = 4” pipeline size)

PTFE Lined Rubber Expansion Joint:

Rubber expansion joints are designed for industrial corrosive chemical applications (with an integral PTFE liner) where the need to resist attack at higher pressures is critical. They are rated to full line pressures listed at up to 250. degrees Fahrenheit. They combine the strength of a rubber spool
expansion joint (Butyl rubber exterior is standard; other rubber exteriors are available) with full PTFE wetted interior, single arch design.

Galvanized split back-up rings come standard.
